Report reply Wryval 0 Posted May 9, 2018 Currently using the Babble chat service version 2.7.2 Recently changed my board URL with a migration to a new server. The Babble chatroom is no longer working. It won't connect, and I get the "You've been disconnected from Babble, please refresh and try again!" message. Is there an update I need to do with the URL change? (changed from http://morningbigblue.com to https://www.morningbigblue.com ) Quote Share this comment Link to comment
Report reply Michael 263 Posted May 10, 2018 you will need to generate a new babble.js and upload it to your server and restart the babble.js in node.js Quote Share this comment Link to comment
Report reply Michael 263 Posted May 10, 2018 also make sure the sound files (acp->babble->configuration->general, sound files tab) have the new url, they don't auto update for some reason, and this will cause babble to have a tism too. Quote Share this comment Link to comment
Report reply Wryval 0 Posted May 11, 2018 I originally had the self hosted Babble but moved to the Babble Chat Service. This is the Babble Chat Service that I'm currently using. I could be wrong, but I thought generating and updating the babble.js file was only for self hosted. Quote Share this comment Link to comment
