Enable stats

When I try to enable Stats - it does not seem to enable. But seem to enable if I also Disable online list.. 

so if you enable stats it disables online list? does enabling online list disable stats?   i think i have a good idea what is going on there, i use a special class i built called "forms class" and i have an issue in cjmenu where  a few of the settings in cjmenu for groups seem to do the opposite or trigger other settings, so i can only think it is this class that is doing it.
