Editing Bot Topic Announcements

well bots and notifications have never been "editable" if they have been in previous versions, then its been a bug. I've actually have not changed any of the code for it on the 2 series in awhile, so if it was previous working like that, it shouldn't have been.

Bots and notifications use the same framework, so babble doesn't see them as different to each other. Notifications are built with 1 language string in babble and multiple language strings thru out the IPS  framework mainly used in the activity stream.

The thinking behind this, bots messages if you need to edit what they say, you'd delete them, then go change the message in the bot configuration. notifications are different cause what they say is built by the framework, and there isn't a single string that controls this.

OK.   I was confusing Notifications for Bot messages, which is confusing as notifications use in babble have several different meanings.  Possibly this is something that can be clarified better moving forward??

I will make a suggestion for 3.0:  

I'd like to be able to edit the "Notifications for Topic Announcements"  as Forum Topic Titles are occasionally edited by moderators for spelling errors, Capitalization, etc as needed and it would be great to make the appropriate correction in the Babble widget as well. 

well i call it "notifications" cause it sends out "notifications" of new content  , in 3 it will be setup just like the other bots will be  hopefully that will "reduce" the confusion.

my original intent was to edit the notifications message if it was edited, but during the original development the testers really didn't like that they felt it to be too "invasive" so i removed it, i've been thinking of adding it back into 3 tho, but having it an option "sync with original" or whatever. 

Sync to Original would be great!
