How to leave a room

There is no visual member function for leaving a room.

Members should be able to press on any button to leave the chat completely and being redirected to another page.

i feel it is unneeded as leaving the page the room is on "leaves the room", so if they clicked on your logo, would do the same thing as a "leave room" button would. you could create a theme hook to add this to the view template.
