Anonymously logged in members

if i changed it to your way, i would have 40 complaints about anonymous members showing up in the online list. in version 3, it will show an anonymous count.

I can understand others, but I think in a "chat conversation" (which is much more personal and private than a public forum topic or comment) I should be able to see who is listening secretly as my chat practices and my "use of verbal communication" might change in another team constellation.

It's tricky, and this way, others feel they will observed and monitored all the time.

I feel as anonymously chatters should be only staff members, or at least a configuration option, in what rooms to show anonymous users, and in what other rooms not.

i don't disagree, i can see how that can make some feel when there are "lurkers". but i tried to keep it consistent with the rest of the apps, that an anonymous login, doesn't show them "online" in any form. since version 3 is still in development, maybe it is something i can work on a bit, maybe find a middle ground for the both sides.
