Default Sound Notifications Play Instead of Custom Sounds

  • Babble 2.2.3 Gremlins Bug

Hi Michael,

Babble: 2.2.3

1) I've removed the default sound .mp3's. I've added my own custom sounds. Even renamed them or changed directory locations.

Cache is removed and babble.js restarted, or stopall, and then started up again.

Sometimes the default sounds play, and sometimes the custom sound plays. It's not consistent.

I don't want to uninstall the app and reinstall it to work.

Are there other directory locations or code in the scripts to force custom sounds only?

2) The default directory does not change for "leave". I can't even rename the file. It keeps saving as the default.

I'll take another look at the code, some one reported something similar a few months back, but i wasn't able to reproduce it, but i'll go over it again line by line to see if i can improve it (as it is a bit complicated, might've missed something).

I've moved this to be fixed in 3.0.0, as the entire system needs to be rewritten as its overly complex and i think that is why it works for some and doesn't work for others.
