Admin sees blank posts

k they must've changed something that i didn't see in the changelog that affects keyword tooltips.

any error's in your system log in the acp? 

No nothing in the system error log.

I can duplicate the issue on 3 sites and with different browsers. All sites using the IPS default theme.

not yet, upgrading my sites to 4.1.14.1 atm. I will test it out in a bit, I am not doubting it is happening. I'm just getting all the info i can to help debug before hand, any little bit helps.

Any progress?

i've been trying to duplicate, i wonder if its a conflict with another app/plugin.

I disabled all plugins and disabled all apps except for KeyWords and the standard IPS apps -- sorry the problem remains.

this is on my dev board located at http://dev.codingjungle.com. I have keywords 3.0.7 installed on IPS 4.1.14.2, as you can see it is working there. 

how many keywords do you have? it might be hitting a OOM or max execution with the exception being captured and suppressed by IPS (they like to do that).  

I have set you up with admin ACP access on one of my 3 sites with the issue. 
This site has only 16 keywords.

Then if you go to this (or any) forum post while logged in as an admin (and Keywords enables) the post will look empty (like my example above). If you then logout and come in as a guest you can see the post fine.

Likewise if you disable Keywords and then login as admin - everything is fine.

I was on 4.1.13.2 with keywords 3.0.6 installed with no problems

I upgraded to 4.1.14.2 and I had the same problem described here

I upgraded keywords to 3.0.7 and the problem remains

And in my case, it is not only admin who see blank posts, but guess too

any additional information you could post or send me in PM, like any error logs that are related or server error logs. I've been unable to reproduce this, or catch what is causing it. i'm at a lost tbh.

There is no error on ACP. The problem occurs only on the forums where the app is activated. The app itself is working.

Further testing shows that this issue that sprung up 3 or 4 IPS versions ago.
It affects any group that is given permissions to view Keyword Tooltips - not just admin.

Still an issue on 3 sites for me and I am sorry but I can not renew this mod until it works.

I do apologize, i thought i had released 3.0.8, but i guess i didn't. it should be fixed in this version. there was an issue with the regex in the previous versions, I am not sure why it only appeared after 4..1.13 i think it was and why it wasn't being caught before or why my site and local host wouldn't cause the error either.

3.0.8 appears to be working!
